It's been 2 weeks since I applied for my BofA credit card, and I havent gotten anything in the mail yet. I even tried calling the backdoor number (option 3) and they always say "your application is still under review"
Does anyone has any other numbers to call? or does anyone know a reason why its taking so long.
They are doing a manual review of your credit file. 619 doesn't seem high enough, but maybe they will make a counter-offer.
623 btw, lol idk if that makes any diff lol
Email the CEO office, be sure to include a contact number but don't put any personal info (Social security number) in the email. You will get a call shortly after.
I was approved for their card after speaking with the someone there from contacting via email and my score EQ is sitting at 580 with a charge off on my report.

BofA is a tough lender, i don't think you'll get approved with that low score....
I think a BofA secured card could be a good fit for the OP . You can add 1-2-3 rewards to it and it unsecures after a year (and, many times, earlier than that). With that, OP can get the satisfaction of getting a rewards card now, while also building history and laying the groundwork for even better cards from prime lenders in the future.
Can you tell me the email of the CEO office?
Nvm. I called the backdoor number again and I got denied. How do I know if I get a counter offer or not? Should it say on the backdoor number when they tell me I'm denied or I will find out when I get the letter in the mail?
bump
If you called and talked to someone and got denied twice and they didn't offer any other card instead, then you didn't get a counter-offer. 620 is too low for most cards that cater to the prime market. You could ask different lenders about secured cards, or possibly try for a sub-prime to help build history for 6 months.
I don't have experience with an exceptionally high FICO, but I can say that I had a lot of trouble getting cards that I wanted until my scores were in the 680+ range.
