Its fine for everyday spending. But if I wanted to buy something larger then that it would be hard. For if an emergency came up and I need more the $800.

Re: BofA CC - CLI Request Plans

Ok. I understand that. Do you know what your internal hard limit is on your Zync? What I'm trying to figure out is you have 3 major cards. Chase and BofA together = 1300. I'm wondering how to work your concerns in with your current cards. I'll be honest with you. I don't think that in 6 months you will be ready for CLIs. I do know that you won't wait either way but I'm trying to put things into perspective for you to help you out. Chase gave me a 3000 CL which for my profile sucks. So I just use my Zync which has an internal limit of 11,000. Plenty of purchasing power for me. What does the rest of your CR look like in terms of scores, baddies, and number of INQ and AAOA?

Re: BofA CC - CLI Request Plans

By the way I'm trying to help you. If I were the bank I would ask why do you need more. It's just a question in order to help you. Don't get defensive because you don't agree with me. Read my previous post and let's talk about ways to help with CLI and get a plan together rather than posting every other day on here saying I'll wait 6 months then I'll wait 12 months then I'll apply for CSP then I'll apply for Discover. Get a real plan and stick to it.

i have more cards then that but those are my daily cards. i will have 9 inqs on eq in 6 months. UTL hopefully will be 9% or lower. AAoA is 2 years might be lower when freeedom hits. scores TU: 643, EQ: 650 (will be going up once cap1 updates an error) EX: 671 baddies all happend 4-5 years ago.

I know you are but  when i really thought about it CSP will not be happening for at least 2 years. i am stil trying to figure out if i NEED another card. right now i dont. but higher CL's would help. if i do get another card i would want really good rewards. but all the cards i have now i feel like are best. Citi i keep saying i will never go for because of the CS i got but if they have a really good card then maybe. Discover might happen but the 3k spending to get 1% is not good. i think in order to maximize my rewards stick to the cards i have now.

my chase card is another i would like with a higher limit. only $500 put $300 on it in 2 days!!! paid cellphone on it this month because im trying to get $500 speninding. i usally pay my cell with zync becasue of connect pack but i just went to a higher plan and i thought since will be like $200 of $500 i just put it on there. paying it as soon as it posts. i think CL's of no more the $5k would be fine for me for now. but once i get a better job and married i may need more.

Re: BofA CC - CLI Request Plans

That's nice to hear. At this point you have great cards with good rewards. In my opinion Discover is great but CL and CLI wise is not good. Also the rewards are better with Freedom. Here is what I would do. You have to have a plan that makes sense. Also you have to wait. I know it's hard but you will get declined for CLI if you try now. Chase will take forever to get CLI. Wait 1 year for Chase. Use your Zync for purchasing power until you get CLI on BofA. I would open an online checking account with BofA. It's free and you don't have to have a min balance. You can fund it with a debit card later or you can redeem your cash back for a 10% bonus. Wait 3 months from the date you open the checking account. Call the back door number and ask to speak with a senior credit analysist. Make sure you have plenty of use. Don't request CLI online. Let them know you have your checking with them and will make this your primary card if you get a higher limit. Leave the total limit open. Let them tell you what they should do. Shoot for 5000. I went from 1000 to 5000 in 3 months but I don't carry a balance and I always used a lot of my limit. This should work for you. Until then DONT APP for anything. Also get out of the mind set that credit is for emergencies. That's how we get in trouble. Please follow my advise. This will get you where you need to be.
