My brother has had an AMEX green for about 19 years. I have an AMEX BCE and have had it for 2 months. Would it be possible to become an AU on my brothers card and then have my card back dated to the green cards date? If this sort of activity is frowned upon, I would not attempt to do it. I'm just curious as to how the AU stuff works. Or, if brothers can be AU and I became an AU on his card, would the card then report on my credit if I was an AU on his card?
there's a thread about amex backdating not too long ago...you can try searching for that thread...here's the thread:

hope this helps
+1 Don't count on this happening for you. Believe it only applies to primary's membership date. If you're added, your card would be member since month added. Piggy backing to increase AAoA is mostly a thing of the past, but YMMV
Thanks a lot for the replies. I will just leave it alone.
