WFNNB gets lists of consumers that are opted in and meet their preapproval criteria. If you're on that list when you check out, they'll run a soft check and if everything is up to snuff, they preapprove you. That's the way I understand it. And that's the better way to go about it, so you don't get a hard inquiry.

What number did you end up calling?  I was also pre approved the other day and receieved the same 7-10 day message.  Thanks for your help!

I got the offer but I didnt accept it yet. I donno if I am going to shop at the buckle again.  Since I gain a few pounds it  is hard for me to fitt into slim fit clothing atm.

But I did get an offer for an HSN card like 2 years ago at check for 3k the same way.
