Re: CAPITAL ONE NOT REPORTING!

Hmmm...That is strange. Capital One is normally very good about reporting to all 3 CRAs. You could try calling them or utilizing their online chat feature, though the difficulty with Capital One is that their customer service is not known for being helpful.  It's possible that they did report your account, but Experian is just being terribly slow at updating.

I got my Cash Rewards card in April, and I've noticed that Transunion has my account added to my report, but not the payment history. In my case, I think it's just a matter of patience, but in your case, it might be a good idea to give them a call. If you do decide to call them, please post and let us know how it went. Good luck!

Re: CAPITAL ONE NOT REPORTING!

I know they are pretty good at reporting.. They reported on my TU and EQ on my first statement... My fourth statement is coming up and still nothing on EX.... I will give cap one a call tomorrow and will keep you up to date... I'm needing to improve my credit and it sucks that EX is lagging on the reporting

Re: CAPITAL ONE NOT REPORTING!

Believe me, I understand. At the beginning of this year, the only tradeline I had was a student loan, so I was in a similar position of having to open up some revolving accounts in order to increase my credit scores and build my file. We should pat ourselves on the back for being patient:smileyhappy:

I know.... I went on an app spree this month ... So many denials... At least 6 I think.... But am so glad GEMB approved me for Walmart nd chevron..... Gave me a chance ..... And Kay's gave me my highest limit too! Am so happy.... I can't wait for my Negatives and collections to fall off this year..... I decided to rebuild 01/2011 and so far, credit is improving slowly but that's ok... I just love seeing an increase on my score every month

Re: CAPITAL ONE NOT REPORTING!

I called capital one and the CSR said they did report the account to the three CRAs .... He had to file a dispute to EX on why it wasn't reporting.... All I have to do is wait ....

Re: CAPITAL ONE NOT REPORTING!

I have Cap1 since 2 months. I know they are reporting to EX as I pulled my report and am in good standing. But I don't have a score for EX or EQ, only for TU. I think this is because it's my first ever credit and I was told numerous times I need to wait 6 months before a first score. I was surprised that I had TU score.

So when they pull my EX they see in good standing, but still no score. :smileysad:

Re: CAPITAL ONE NOT REPORTING!

I think it does take 6 months to get a score if you're new to credit... I know how you feel, we wanna see our scores boost up quickly but am tryin to be patient.... Am waiting til December to apply or AMEX, CITI, or even CHASE .... All of them denied me last April..... Am hoping my second cap one will help boost my score.... It is a good card only for rebuilding..... My first cap one from last year only increased one time through credit steps and always PIF..... But my scores increased dramatically and I am not complaining....am hoping I get to primeville by the end of the year

Starting Score: TU: 598 03/23/2012 EQ:607 05/24/2012 EX:607 04/26/2012 (lender pull) EX FAKO:522 03/2012
