lol!
There are times when the English language just isn't sufficient...
When I read your original post, all I could think was, holy cow...to lower your apr by 60%, you'd have to be financed for a car loan at MORE than 60% APR.
Thank you for clearing that up...
(...head still spinning.....)
Oh, and CONGRATS!, of course.
LOL, I can see how that could be confusing & misconstrued!
Saying 60% sounds better (& makes me feel better) than just saying "went from 8 to 3%".
Congrats! You're very close to where I was last year at this time! I had ON $200, 2 Cap Ones $300 and $500, CU Visa $500. In just one year, I've made huge progress...
Be sure you ask for CLI every 4 mos 2/ON and Walmart, which is a SP. Ask for more and let the system counter with a lower offer. Use your Cap One, but don't spend a lot of time and energy thinking that it's going to grow with you. Use your CU CC more and PIF. At 6 mos., ask for a CLI on your CU CC, even if it's a HP on your CU CC (NOT Cap one!).
In 6 mos., you might want to get another CC or two (not a store card -- Amex Zync, maybe?), or one that has rewards you want that's not super hard to qualify for.
If you have any connection to military, you might check out Navy Federal.
Good luck! You have a great foundation for a good CC portfolio!
Congrats on the nice rate
