Well, just not very ethical if you're buying something knowing that you're going to return it. (I'm not sure if ethical is the right word, but you know what I mean..)
Use it for legitimate purposes -- they dont' want you to buy something and return it. (They make no money from that. -- it might even cost them, not sure.)

Not a good way, each time you use a card for either a purchase or a credit the merchant gets charged fees for it....
