May have jumped the gun but I applied with a 624 EXP today.

I think you may have success! They look at the whole picture, and not just your score. So, aslong as you don't have alot of collections or tons of lates. you'll be okay!!

Not many left a few medicals but minor amounts and a small tax lien I am working on..

How old is the tax lien??? I'm assuming it's not paid yet??

Edited to add: You may really want to clear up that tax lien if you are able to. I had one back in 2002 for a whooping 100.00 ( my tax guy screwed me). I paid it almost immediately once I found out, and it has not had that much of an affect on my credit card shopping sprees!! I think I have had one denial due to it. My only other denial is because of inquiries.Smiley Indifferent You are going to have more trouble getting approved for any CC until that is paid and showing released on your credit report. Don't mean to bring you down, but I honesttly believe that you will have alot more success with it being paid.Smiley Wink

Re: CCCU credit card

Lien is from 1996..
It is the last of the moheekans for me it's just that I am relocating from
Arizona to Washington state for a better position and need all the cash I
have for now to get up there, I was a little desperate for cards to be able
to rent cars and hotel rooms, got 2 cards with 2 pending and 2 flat out
refusals, I do have a AMEX green card that I had been piggybacking on
so I am covered...
I will pay it off next month...
