CHASE- when to ask for a CLI?

I have:

1)Chase Platinum Visa- 3,000 CL - 6 months old w/ 9.9% (No interest for 1 year)

2)Chase Amazon Master Card- 1,000 CL - 5 months old w/ 19.24%

When should I ask for a CLI? Or should I just keep under the radar?

How has your payment history been with them? What are yout FICO scores? Any recent inq?

It all depends upon your other available credit. You have clean reports I imagine? Doubtful they will increase your promo rate card. I would wait until you had the cards for a year before asking for more credit in this climate.

I requested a CLI at 6 mo. (March 2009), and was approved for a 100% increase . . . from 2500 - 5000.  But be sure your 6th statement has dropped before asking.  It will be a hard pull.  Chase also REDUCED my APR from 14.99% to 13.24%.

I have 2 Chase cards circuit city which is now Best Buy!!! and BP 11.99apr on BP i havent asked for a credit limit they actually sent me a letter saying they will review my acct! for an increase!!!! ive had it for one year! I plan to call in once I pay the balance down more!!!! last summer on a F250 diseal was no JOKE... good rebates though!!! Ill ask for an increase on both!
