CITI @ 8.24%

Hey Guys,

I have a CITI Professional card with a fantastic rate of 8.24% APR, which is actually lower than my Navy Visa @ 8.99%. I believe it's the lowest cc rate I currently have.

Great rate but the $3,500 limit on this card has not budged. Neither has my Diamond Preferred Card at $2,600. I've had them long enough (1+ years) and both are PIF.

Not looking for another hard inquiry, espcially for a credit limit increase. I believe that's a total waste and save my inqs for new apps only,

I'm actually considering writing CITI a physical letter and mailing it.

Thoughts?

Yes, go for it.  How can it hurt?  Be positive in the letter and tell them that the cards would be more useful to you with higher limits.

Have you tried calling, though?  Maybe talking to a person on the phone could get the same results without having to wait for mail time.
