What troubles me with CITI was the CL and the APR they approved for me. My EQ score was 756, very low util on all revolving accounts and credit limits on other CCs of 17.5K (now 20), 15K, 19.3K and 10K. They gave me a CL of 3.6K with an APR over 13%.
Amex loves me b/c I charge 8-10K a month.

fused, they know that your heart really lies with Amex, and you're just flirting with them!
I'm thinking they're an all or nothing kind of company.

And as far as the 13% rate, well that is really about avg for them even with great credit. If you are carrying a balance on the acct, and are paying that kind of rate you can always call customer service and tell them you are thinking of transferring your balance elsewhere unless they can lower it. A knowlegeable rep will check the acct for balance retention offers and then transfer you to an acct specialist if you qualify, it wont be 0% but is usally a significant decrease for 9 billing cycles. I probably shouldnt be posting all of this but next friday is my last day anyway!
