I've heard CITI is generous with increases. I realize this account is new, but when will the luv button appear? I don't believe it is there so I'm wondering if it will just "pop up" one day. I have a CITI Professional card for business that's 3 years old and not once has an increase button ever appeared.
My initial CL is only $2,600, which is low for me but I'm going to rack up charges and PIF before the statement closes for the next few months.

The evil little luv button showed up on my CITI Diamond Preferred card at the 3-month mark, and has been there ever since IIRC, At that time I didn't realize if it popped up a box asking for information, and I filled it out I was gunna' be hit with an INQ,, sadly,, I was promptly denied the CLI (account too new) and tagged with an EX inquiry for naught,
I still have the evil little button showing under the 'Tools and Services' link,, ,,, but when I touch it,, it now sezs,,

I'm not un-happy,, I'm currently paying off a 0% for 12 month purchase so I have'nt been running any money thru the card,, CITI likes to see usage to get the CLI ...
mine appears every 3 months. up until last feb. hitting the luv button would increase my limit by $1200 each time. and then after that i have had to call in since then to increase my limit. but the increases are now $1600. they will not pull a hard inquiry without letting you know over the phone. its a soft pull unless you request your limit to be more than 1600 depending on your account.
I have the option to ask for a CLI with my CITI World MC, but it requires me to give CITI info on two of my bank accounts. Ha ha, no thanks.
