OK, here's the update we've all been waiting for.

I just received a call from the credit department because of my Equifax fraud alert. The lady just asked my name and then said the words we all love hearing in myfico land; YOU HAVE BEEN APPROVED! Previous credit line was $2,600... they raised me to $10,000......... Go CITI!

I honestly don't know if this was a hard pull or not because I haven't checked my EQ report. It would be sweet if it wasn't but with a nice increase like this it's totally worth an increase.

Hey Jason,

I asked for $7,400. Very happy because this card has not budged since I applied for it 18 months ago. One of the reasons I applied for this card in the first place is because I heard the increases are very generous. Nice to see some luv from CITI.

See what did I tell you! Congrats though! I got approved for the Diamond preferred 2 weeks ago for $4,800 hoping to get it to $10k in the next 6 months

Turns out this was, in fact, a hard pull on EQ. Since I was approved for the full $7,400, I'm not complaining and was worth the HP, IMO.

So, if I want an increase in another six months, does that mean another HP? I always thought the six month increases on this card were a SP.
