CITI SECURED CREDIT CARD-NEED HELP BEFORE APPLYING

I have a Secured card with BOFA with a 1000.00$ Deposit.  Its been pretty good to me. Power Rewards Visa.  I use it as a debit card. So far Ive gotten 100.00 in Cash back.

Hoping since i have the BOFA secured they will approve me for the CITI

How do you use a credit card as a debit card?

I dump most of my paycheck into the card to PIF every 2 weeks.  Use the card for all my purchases including paying rent then when I get paid PIF. Do that every 2 weeks.

You should know something by September 19??  I should hope so!  And that's the faster turn around time, lol?

Hehe, anyway, good luck to you.  It's a paid collection so I don't see why they would deny you.  From the writing it looks like they don't want open collections, but who knows? 

If it doesn't work out, you can try a local credit union.  I got a secured card with one when I was rebuilding and I think it really helped.  Please keep us updated!

Thanks to everyone on here I opened a Checking Account with a Local CU.  They were really nice and extended me a Line Of Credit When I opened my account. Its really small only 500.00$ but since I don't overdraft ever I will never use it.  Just wanted to get in good with a CU. Im planning on getting a car in about a year. 

Ill Keep Yall Posted. Ive been reading a lot about Citi Secured and it seems very Hit and Miss.

I started off with 2 First Premier Cards in 2007 and a Express Fashion Card.  My total CL was about 1000.00$

I also had 18 Baddies on my CR.

NOw thanks to this site I only have 4 Baddies 

And a Total CL of my combined cards of

$12,110.00

I couldnt have done it without the help of this website.

UPDATE****

Today I called to check the status.  The APP LINE connected me to CSR.  Said my APP was recieved yesterday. So about 6 days from when I mailed it.  Said it will take one more week to process.

Not sure but this sounds bad......

They recieved the app on the 01 of SEP

Took exactly 9 days from recieveing.
