I recieved a Score Watch Alert yesterday stating that Citi Shell had closed my card, not a big surprise since I had not used the card for over a year because the credit limit was $80.00.

Opened in 2007

Will this have any negative effect on my scores since it was closed by Citi?

No. The card will continue to report as a closed pain as agreed account for the next 10 years, and $80 reduction in availible credit isn't going to change your UTL much if at all.
