CITI Simplicity Approved

Hey gang,

Long time since I've been on MyFICO. In June I officially closed on my Condo, which I owe exclusively to MyFICO. Literally it would never have been possible with out these forums. My FICO's were in the high 700's but have dropped considerably since then due to many new accounts, several inq's, increased utl%, and a ton of new debt.

Anyways I just apped for CITI Simplicity and was instantly approved. They have 0% for 18 months, which would allow me to pay down some of the balance on my Chase Mileage Plus card. My income will be increasing in the near future so I'll be in better shape six months from now.

CITI gave me a $1800CL and I'm really disappointed in it. My reports are 100% clean but I guess I'm lucky to have gotten approved at all with all the new accounts/inq's/utl%/etc. What are my chances of getting a CLI on Recon? I was hoping for $3000 or so. Also is CITI decent with CLI's after 6-12 months?

Transunion: 713 FICO (5/13/2014) MyFico
Experian: 789 FICO (4/10/12) Lender Pull
Equifax: 695 FICO (1/10/14) MyFico

My cards: Chase United Mileage Plus 7000CL (3/12), CITI Simplicity 1800CL (9/12), Cap1 Platinum 1000CL (2/10), Cap1 Cash back 1500CL (11/11), Apple Barclay's 2500CL (11/11), Discover IT 6000CL (5/13)

My Primary Financial Goal is to put down my utl%.

Some people are successful with recons right off the bat, not many, but I would say they they are pretty good at CLI at the 6 month mark (have to wait 6 to ask for first). Usually you can double limit with lower amounts. YMMV .Citi is a stickler when it comes to UTIL (at least for me).
