CITI - Waiting 30 Minutes

I was approved on Monday for the Diamond Preferred Card. Initial credit limit was only $2,600 so I just called and requested a higher credit line. They told me to call back in 30 minutes.

Any guesses on the outcome? Is this a hard or soft pull?

Re: CITI - Waiting 30 Minutes

Most likely a hard pull. Citi doesn't pull your credit report when you see the "Request a Credit Line Increase" link in the online account management site and call them about that.

In other words, if you're not pre-approved for a CLI in their system, they're going to pull your report.

I dunno, that would be pretty brutal. They pulled Uncle Money's report on Monday. Stranger things have happened, though.

UM, let's hope that they're just having their underwriting department review it.

Hmmm, seems like it's been >30 minutes... Smiley Wink

Good luck!
