I just happened to check online today and realized that Citibank has upgraded most of their cards with the chip technology. I called and requested my Citi Thank You Preferred card to be reissued with the new chip on it. It will arrive in 5-7 days...so be sure to call and request to get your new card to be sent with the chip.

You dont have to call. You can request a replacement card online with the chip.

Well, be sure and call (or go online) if you really need a chip card.  Not going to do much for users in the US for quite a while.
