applied for this today and got the dreaded more time to review. Some have posted about getting an email a few hours later with an approval, I have not.

Is there any back door to call on the status. I would REALLY like to get this card

What are the chances of me being able to use that promo code for my Citi Select AMEX that I was already approved for and am awaiting for the card... I was given the 30k bonus that was on their website.

Know of anyone who asked and received?

bummer. automated line told me I was denied. Really curious to see the reasons when the letter arrives.

Looks like they pulled Equifax for me which unfortunately is my lowest score. It should rise in a day or two with three paid off lines. Damn I should have waited. Should I call in for a reconsideration now or wait????

I think you should call the backdoor number and speak to a credit analyst... at least you will find out why you were denied credit... If the reason is the negative info in your credit reports, then you can discuss your situation with them and then ask for a reconsideration.
