Re: CL based on income?

I live outside of NYC and travel frequently ..In the last several years I've never found a place that didn't accept AMEX . The last time was an Acura dealer, which has seen changed that practice. International travel I agree.

Re: CL based on income?

Thanks for helpful tips. So, you're pretty sure with my fico scores I can get either card?

By the way, I thought Amex were all charge cards. They have reg, unsecured cards too?

Re: CL based on income?

Like another poster mentioned, this thread is over a year old. You may have better responses if you start a new thread. Amex typically pulls Experian so if your EX is comparable to the others, you might be ok. Amex has both charge and credit cards - I recommend researching what card might work best for your spending habits - ex. Travel rewards, cash, etc. Some say that getting a charge card is easier with those that are borderline but provided that you garden for another few months and your baddies fall off, you should be alright. I dont think you should have any problems with your incone either. Good luck!

Re: CL based on income?

I'd go on an app spree.

lol

get a 0% card,

then CSP and Marriott (use the bonuses for a trip after, before, or during your honeymoon.)

My point is you need a 0% card and a rewards card. Use them correctly and wisely, and you could end up knocking a few thousand off the cost of your honeymoon in general.
