Do most of the lenders have a minimum length of time accounts need to be open before they're willing to combine credit limits?

Applying was fun and all but it would be nice to simplify down to less total cards, easier to keep track of.

Some you can do this with immediately Chase is one, others you might have to wait some time, I believe AMEX cannot be done till the 13th month the account is open.
