CL consolidation by Chase for these approved CCs only...

I recently inquired about consolidating my 2 Chase Freedom CCs into one CL. Chase replied and stated only these CCs (listed below) will be approved if an applicant wants to combine the two CL into one. Here is a partial message from Chase CSR below.

I would like to inform you that, I am unable to process
your request to consolidate the credit lines on your
accounts ending in xxxx and xxxx as line consolidations
are only available on the below listed accounts:

1. Chase Sapphire
2. British Airways
3. Hyatt Card (effective 9/23/10)
4. Southwest
5. Marriott
6. United
7. IHG
8. Continental

I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If you

Why Chase can't approved my 2 Chase Freedom...I will never know.

Thanks, I figure this will help out OP.

For example, if you are not happy with 1 card and want to convert, I am sure Chase can do that for any card listed in the list..since they are able to combined CL for cards within that list.
