CLD _ WALMART (GE MONEY)

I do not know if they are cutting CLIs, but I know Target has an automated message, or at least had when I called a couple of weeks ago, making it clear that under know circumstances are they giving CLIs.

Right now I am ok with my $200 limit with target. I need to pay down the high ones.

Well as far as target goes i could care less if i never get a cli from them i have no use for the card anyway. My wife has used it twice and i pif a few days later So whatever target.

Got the same situation and letter last week. Removed my $1000 cl and gave me anew one for$930......Doesnt make any sense to me.  No late pays either- Go figure!

The fact that you shop at Walmart may be why Walmart CLD you (or rather GE did).  After all, you could be shopping there because you HAVE to rather then because you WANT to and as such you are a risk on defaulting on your credit.  As funny as this sounds, I think it makes about as much sense as the reasons most banks are giving out today.

Walmart Discover (GE Money) CLD'd me from $3K to $100...I was furious!!! I started to cancel, but I just threw it in the sock drawer...never late and had a zero balance for months,

I am beginning to think that the PIF every month is why the CLD happens? Just a guess, but I do not PIF every month, and none of mine (so far; fingers crossed!!) have CLD me.

Is it possible that they make no money off you, so why not cut it?
