CLI field for card usage Cap1

So on the Cap1 CLI field right after income, where it asks me how much i use the card a month. Has anyone played around with that to see if leaving it empty or entering a high dollar amount makes a difference when it comes to CLI's

In the past I put what I used in hopes they would give me a higher limit to correspond with my usage. I don't think leaving it empty is a good strategy because it would appear you have no use for a CLI, but my theory is that those boxes for income and usage don't do anything anyway, I think they go by their own records and algorithms of your usage and payment history to determine CLI's instead of what you state.

Yea I've put in random amounts (much more than I actually spend per month) hoping maybe it might trigger something, but alas, I don't think it does anything.
