CLI's

So If you can request a soft CLI on a card every 6 mo, and you call them in 4 mo and get declined for requesting it too early, can you request one 2 mo after or do you have to wait for another 6 mo after being declined?

IME no, you can wait the 2 mos and try again with success.

 

there are exceptions like boa and others that i now may not want to initiate multiple requests with in short time period due to the (perceived) imminent threat of CLD/AA. 

 

things seem to change every week but i had a declined cli request with boa last year and a subsequent request was approved 2 mos.later.  ymmv..
