I plan on asking for a CLI on my freedom in jan 2013. it will be six months from my last one. i am fixing some things on my report and will be done soon. what are my chances of going from $1500 to $5k? i would like to get my girlfriend an engangement ring if i can. i plan on having my balances low and UTL no more then 20%.

I think it depends on how much you use the card and if you always pay it off every month. If you're currently pushing more than $1500 per month through it and making multiple payments then I think the chances are high. If you only use for a couple hundred per month, I don't see you getting a raise to $5K. It would also help if you have some other high limits at the time.

I was able to go from $1500 to $4500 earlier this year through manual review after being denied a CLI.
