When you apply ask your CC company for a CLI `does that hurt your FICO score?

In most cases you will get one or possibly two inqs hit your score - could drop a few points depending how many inqs you have on at the moment.
 
When you get the card, your util might well go down - good.
 
 
The slide from grace is really more like gliding
And I've found the trick is not to stop the sliding
But to find a graceful way of staying slid

When you ask your CC company for a CLI does that hurt your FICO score? I've had the card for about 5 months.

Same answer  Smiley Very Happy.  When you ask them (and 6 months is better) they will probably pull a hard inq and this will go on your CR

Ask your CCC if they are going to pull a hard inquiry if you request a CLI. Some CCC's do and other don't. If they say no hard inquiry, then request the CLI. I have never heard of a CLI without a hard inquiry hurting FICO scores. Which CCC are we talking about?
