I recently received a balance transfer offer on my venture card for 0% for 18 months, 2% transfer fee. I had an existing lending club loan so i just used the offer to pay off the loan which was at 13%. However, the transfer will put my utlization on the venture card to 83%, overall will be around 15%. So, I was thinking about combining the other 2 capital one cards I have into the venture card to create one large card and 50% utilization.
My question is will doing an account combination mess up my balance transfer offer. I obviously don't want to mess that up, since that was the entire reason for doing the transfer. Has anyone done this before after using a balance transfer offer? Thanks!
