Anybody have any idea what company Credit One credit card does a credit pull from? I have a EQ 698 and TU 615 and after trying a pre-qualification, they reported to me that I have a credit score of 142!!! I am shocked.
I found it in the denial letter. They used Experian. The only one I didn't have a score for. But does that even remotely make sense that there is a 500 point difference?
That is an internal score from credit one. You can get your credit score free from EX with the denial and figure out what's on the report. They take more than credit score into account they look at your whole credit file before extending credit.
edit: report not score as Lexie stated thinking report typed score.
I want to mention too that ficos don't go below 300 do they?

Bankcard enhanced ('08 I believe) is 250-900.
Below 250 I think your statement is completely accurate though; Edit: FICO NextGen is 150 base reportedly.
Edit x2: OP, if it doesn't say FICO explicitly on your denial letter it's anything goes.
There paper said that their scores range from a -5 to 298 so it must be some sort of internal calculation that they come up with and not your actual FICO number.
