At the end of last month, I made the final payment on an old, outstanding CC debt. I've been checking my CMS every day, waiting for the CRAs to update. Today TU updated, so I went and paid for my FICO score. I ususally only do this at the beginning of the month, but I was anxious to see the score impact. And it turns out -- I got a 15 point boost!!!!!
So, as of this month, I have officially crossed the myFICO score range from "Not Good" to "Good" on both EQ and TU. I love seeing the meter sitting on yellow instead of orange!
So, as of today, the ONLY balance that I show is from last month's Amex Green card, giving me 2% util. Yes, the TU score here does indeed factor in Amex charge cards. EQ should update very soon, probably tomorrow, so it will be interesting to see what happens there.
On a non-FICO note, my TU Vantage score just went to 802, officially crossing the border from "C - Good" to "B - Very Good" on that scale.
Anyway, I'm SOOOOOO happy to have reached this personal milestone!
(Edited for typo)
Woohoo!! Congrats.

Yep, being out of debt feels WONDERFUL! The sun is shining brighter, the air is smelling fresher, and the birds are singing more sweetly. For the first time in many years, I'm beginning to feel creditworthy again.
TU always seems to update last. That may not be the case, but it sure seems like it.

Usually true, but in this case EQ is that last one to update. As I said, probably by tomorrow.
BTW, I can't wait to have scores comparable to yours! Thanks to the info that I've gained from these boards, now I know what I need to do to eventually get there!
