HI. I close on my first home in a couple of days. Right now I am a authorized user on a Capital One card and have a couple of store cards. I really want to get my own credit card and start building my credit up more. My question is do I wait until the mortgage hit my credit or do I run out and try to get some credit the day after closing? Are there any suggestions on which cards might be best.
