I got my CreditOne a month after my discharge in Aug 2016. I burned pretty much all major card companies and they were the only to give me approval. Got approved at $1200 and in November without asking I received a CLI up to $1700.
Yes yes a lot of people hate them but they have been nothing but nice to me and helped me out in a time of need. I pay off the balance every month and have absolutely no issue with them.
They are a builder card though so if you aren't in need of that then there are much, much better alternatives.

I called up credit one asking about a CLI. Was denied, told they only give an increase after a year (at least that's what I understood given the heavy accent). I told them I'd like to cancel the card (fishing for anything as I WILL cancel in a few months before the AF). I was given a $50 credit to my account. Limit stayed at $450.
Similar experience when calling to cancel DW's Credit One card - they gave us a $21 credit and assured us the AF isn't up until June - so I accepted the offer and set a reminder to revisit for the 1st of May
I have Credit One. I've had them since June and have had zero issues. Got a CLI within the first 30 days, it was only $150 increase but within 1st 30 days?!?!?? That can't be beat! Using them until my scores go up enough to get a better card with higher limit.
I got Credit One in April with a $500 credit limit, received an automatic $200 CLI after first payment, no fee. I have a $45 annual fee, a grace period, and 1% cash back on certain purchases. The only problem I have is when you make a payment, it takes around 5 days before it shows up in you credit limit as available for use.
I will admit when I was rebuilding I had this card for a few years. I was always afraid to close it because back then I didn't understand closing my oldest card wouldn't hurt me until after the 10 year mark. My highest limit with them was something like $2700 and I got them numerous times to waive the annual fee and got auto increases with no fee. Still to this day I get emails asking me to come back.
I called customer service and was told that they automatically give CLI every 6mo. for accts. in good standing.
I've only been able to get $250 ea. time.

I had credit one after BK 3 years ago as rebuilding plan. Approved $1500. I got couple increase $200-250 each. I have credit limit $2400 total now. I'm planning to close the card soon since my credit profile improve a lot.

Very similar to mine. I was approved within a few weeks of my CH 7 discharge for $1500. Was at $2450 when I closed it two years later.
