I did the downgrade once. Not only was the CS plastic, it was super flimsy and the edges were kind of rough and unfinished. It was like going from a Corvette to a Chevette.
I called back a couple of months later, admitted that I'd made a mistake, and PC'ed right back into the $95 CSP.
I'll have to deal with the flimsy card. Not going to pay the AF. Although, in another year I will reapp for the CSP to get the bonus again. My freedom card is falling apart which is annoying. I'm holding off on requesting a new one until I transfer some of my credit line over to bring it to 5k, so I can request a visa signature freedom.
BTW, the Freedom is an artistic masterpiece compared to the CS.
I like the colored edge around the freedom card. Makes it easy to locate in my wallet.

Me too, unfortunately the Freedom is about to get stashed behind the Marriott to make room for my new Amex when it arrives
