Re: CSP? BCP? MB? Ritz?

Yes, multiple apps will cancel out with Amex. They will probably allow the first to be processed , then you would have to wait 5 days in between apps -if they are within the same group....ie apping for two charge cards or revolvers.

Re: CSP? BCP? MB? Ritz?

Well Chase Card Services said my new CSP limit is 19K!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT!!!!! Do you think that's why they said 7-10 on Ritz?

AMEX Fraud department was less than stellar, she said she could see no apps pending and to try calling back tomorrow when new accounts can assist. She said if it was suspected Fraud tomorrow they would review with them first. The rudeness again with AMEX! Smiley Mad

I wonder if I can split my CSP CL with Ritz?Smiley Tongue I have never had any relationship with Chase, I am shocked they would give me that much. I had a CD back in the 90s early part with them, but they were BankOne.

I hope Penfed and Barclays don't get "worried" though I don't see why they would....3 INQ+2 on EX and 6 on TU now? Assuming....

Thanks guys!!!! Reports are relocked tomorrow!!! That's an itchy finger!

Awesome CL! I was imaginging atleast a 10k CL for you, possibly 15k... but 19? Good job!

Rudeness? Sounds like protocol for Amex... let the dust settle and address it this morning. 3 apps to one company in one night will get any CC issuer suspicious.

I hear people moving CLs around between Slate/CSP/CS/Freedom with no problem... not sure with the Ritz card.

Barclays for me hasn't gotten worried when I apped for Discover and Amex, and all the CLIs I've had...

Why lock your reports?

FICOs 7/2015: TU 756 | EQ 754 | EX 747
Amex BCE $8,000 | Citi DoubleCash $4,500 | Chase Freedom $4,000 | Chase Amazon Rewards $3,500 | Citi Forward $2,500 | Discover IT $2,100 | Barclaycard Rewards $2,000 | Capital One Quicksilver $1,750

Re: CSP? BCP? MB? Ritz?

Peace of Mind, 4 years ago when I joined Myfico someone opened a MBNA/Bank of America card in my name, BOFA was less than helpful to say the least! The fraud specialist at Transunion recommended I do it, and I could get it for free, just made me follow the appropriate law enforcement report etc. So while its never been attempted again , I just have set them all to remain locked..I would have though they would put F/A on them too but no, just freeze.

Yes I read the board about that but couldnt find anyone moving from CSP or Slate to a Brand Card...If not I did OK. Smiley Happy

thanks Colln! Lex, everyone else!!!! GOOD SUNDAY!!!

Re: CSP? BCP? MB? Ritz?

Congratulations on your CL. Amex is best to call during business hours unless you are a cardmember IMO. I am sorry your experience has been bad with them but I must say in my almost 30 years, my experiences have been quite pleasant.

Re: CSP? BCP? MB? Ritz?

You can easily move CL amounts from any Chase/JP Morgan cards whether or not they are co-branded. I have moved limits between Ritz, Marriott, CSP, Freedom without any problem.
