CSP and hotels

So i noticed with Visa Signature that its possible to get a free hotel upgrade. I was wondering when booking a hotel do i call CSP or Visa Signature or do i call the hotel and when it comes to pay let them know?

Visa signature has its own website. I booked thru it to stay at Aria in Vegas. Easy ttamsaction snd helpful concierge.
