CSP and returns

OK, I'm back.  I got the card in mid-January and ordered a $1800 clarinet that put me over the $4K requirement right away.  I still haven't received the item and was told it would be 4 months before I'd get it.  I called CSP customer service and put in a dispute.  They said I was currently $250 away from the $4000 spending requirement for the bonus I already used and have over a month to get it if I get my money back.  They said I wouldn't be charged right away unless I'm under $4K spending in mid-April.

 

Just a heads up for anyone who have had to return an item in this situation.  I already used the points.  I use the card everyday for dining and will be traveling next week.  I should be able to spend the $250 fairly quickly if I don't use other cards for their little perks.  Balance is $50 on the card at the moment.
