I've heard that having other cards with a 5k+ limit will give you a better chance on getting the CSP. I just recently got the 3x CLI on my AMEX BCP, making it 6k. Should I wait until my statement has posted so that it is reported to the bureau that my limit has increased?

Hey SchickHydro!
Welcome to the forums!
Yes, you should wait till the new CL post. The old limit of 2K will still be showing till the next statement cut and reporting there of.
Good Luck with your app!
After thought: If you tell us a bit about your credit profile, we will have a better idea of your possible app results for the CSP.

Only real concern is your AAoA. Everything else looks good. Let the Amex report the new CL and give it a go. I think you have a good chance. How long have you had the Freedom?
my statement on my AMEX ends the 13th so does this mean on the 13th, it'll be reported? I've had the freedom since April 2012. Begged them to let me in when they had the $350 cashback offer so they started me off with $500, and they've been stingy with a CLI and never thought it'd be worth a hard pull for a CLI.

Typically, Amex reports within 2 days of statement cut on all CRAs. TU is sometimes a little slow on the uptake. I'd wait a good week after to be sure. That's good that you've had the Freedom for over a year. I say go for it. I think you will likely be approved with 5K limit. Good Luck!
Just out of curiosity, what is your FICO score? Sorry for the late question.
Thanks! if it shows as reported on my CK account will that mean it has? So I will definitely know when?

Yes, if CK shows the new CL then it has reported likely to all CRAs. CK pulls it's info from TU.
thanks again for the quick response!
