Hi there, no harm in giving them a heads up but my fiancé was in the same situation last year and he didn’t have too. Was approved for CSR 30k and made 20k charge within the first month without notifying them. No problem. Paid the balance in full and got an auto CLI to 37.5k within 3 months of opening the account.
Me on the other hand, got a 10k CSR a month after him. Utilization on that card can be 10-70% but always paying 2-5k of balance down. Finally PIF two months ago hitting the 1yr mark. Still no auto CLI. Lol
