If you are trying to ask if they are hard to get, then NO. Credit union are much more lenient than most banks. For example, lower APR and higher limits.

Generally speaking, yes.

 

However, credit unions are membership organizations of people who pool their funds to lend out to fellow members. Their loan officers are often very ready to work with those who are diligently trying to work their ways out of credit problems, or those who are new to credit, but they are often wary of those who have been on mad app sprees.

 

In other words, you might not fit their profile right now. Smiley Wink

 

Seriously, didn't you post that you were going to stop for six months and let your reports settle down? What on earth is the rush? As I wrote a couple of weeks ago, you're just going to get crappier and crappier cards, more declines, and lower limits if you don't STOP and let steady history build up.
