Called Citi EO for SP CLI on new card.

No go...  Even their Senior Credit Analyists don't have access to the reports pulled by "the system" for auto approvals of new cards.  HP only.  I'll wait.

I've had the same issues with citi. They want that 6 months before giving a CLI in my case

I got SP message EXACTLY 5 month after my account opening, got 50% increase with 40% utility showing

Even on a new card!  Something like this is not a warranted escalation IMO.  I could see if something was messed up from the get-go with the account, but this wasn't the case.  Smiley Indifferent

That's not correct. From doing research they CAN and in some cases WILL do whatever you ask from them when it comes to your account. It's a YMMV thing though.

just because they CAN in some cases doesn't mean it's worth going to one of the most crucial departments of the bank because you aren't happy with a limit on your card. that's just petty. that's why they have customer service reps

+1. It's because of people constantly doing that that these channels get shut down and makes it harder for actual issues to be handled.
