Can I back date my Amex

I had it for 7 months now.. I always pay in ful.. Im really trying to prove myself. I love Amex and trying to get more then a $500 C/L.

Do you have any Amex card in the past? If you don't, you cannot backdate.

Had what for about 7 months? I believe that we are missing a crucial bit of information. If you current card is a Amex, which was received ~7 months ago, and your inquiring about a backdate, then as Ron said, it wouldn't be possible. However, if this is not your first card with Amex then it is possible to attain a backdate, but that would be based on a case by case matter.

If you were on someone else's account you can. IE autherized user. I did that on my account. I was on my mum account for a year and I kept her account open date.
