I would check Amazon, Walmart, and Target first before dealing. Best Buy prices are ridiculously high. That's why they are shutting down some stores. Target had a 55' Element TV for $489 a few weeks back.

Good idea. TV prices are artificially high right now, so when they have a "sale" later on it will in fact look like a sale.

If you are set on that TV, you could get it used without a stand and just hang it.

LOL I never understood why a TV needed WiFi...hahaha. I haven't heard a peep about internet TV since WebTV in the 90s. Haha.

The idea is that you don't need to build a HTPC and hook it up to the TV.
