Can a CCC convert a Mastercard to a Visa?

There really is no difference between the two but since I already have 2 Mastercards, a 2 year old Best Buy RZ MC and a Chase Freedom MC im thinking about converting the Chase Freedom MC to a Chase Freedom Visa. Can this be done without closing the acct and re-applying?

Chase said I could convert my freedom card to the sapphire visa or master card. So maybe you could pc to another card.

I converted my Chase Freedom Visa card to a Freedom World MasterCard.  I assume you could easily convert a Chase Freedom MC to a Visa.
