Can anyone suggest me which card I can be approved for sure?

Please consider the following information about my credit:

1. Credit history (based on the oldest account age)- 10 months old

2. total accounts 7:

    Installment Loans:

    Auto Loan - Principal:$12000 -Balanace : $9800 - Age: 10 months

    Secured PL - Principal:$5000 -Balance: $4650 - Age: 4 months

    Credit Cards:

    First Premier Bank - CL: $250 - Age: 5 months - Balance: $7 (as of today $0)

    CapOne - CL: $750 - Age: 5 months - Balanc: $1(as of today $0)

Macy (Charge card) - CL: $200 -  Age: 4 month- Balance:$24 (as of today $24)

    DCU (secured) - CL:$500- Age Age:4 months - Balance:$0( as of today $0)

CEFCU - CL:$1000 - Age: 1 day - Balance:$53 ( charged today only, and planning to pay in a couple of days)

3.  Inquiries:

TU : 14 (this includes 1 inquiry for my rented apt) (from FICO credit monitoring)

EQ: 8 ( this includes 2 inquiry from AT&T Wireless Service) (from TrueCredit)

EX:  6 ( this includes 1 inquiry from AT&T Wireless Service) (from TrueCredit)

I really want to improve my scrore as soon as possible to cross 750 mark. I do not want to apply until i am sure of approval (as already applied blindly in the past).

I request all the Gurus to help me achieving my target and suggest me what course of action i should follow. I think if i do not apply and increase my credit limits i will never be able to reach my target score. I would really appreciate you expert's suggestions and guidance.

Thanks.

09/25/2009 TU: 678

09/23/2009 EQ:683

09/23/2009 EX:714 (from TrueCredit )

I'd say probably just keep what you have. Your average account age could use some aging. Seems your doing a great job at keeping utilization down on your revolving balances, and installment loans add a good mix.

Current Cards:
American Express Blue Cash Preferred - March 2007 - CL $10,000
Citi Forward Visa Signature - September 2009 - CL $6,500
Chase Freedom - March 2011 - CL $15,000
Chase Sapphire Preferred - May 2013 - CL $12,500
Discover It - November 2013 - $5,000
Barclay Arrival - January 2014 - $10,000

Thanks alph4! But Do you think my overall CL ( around $2700) will not be an obstacle?

Considering the currect credit conditions, this is impossible to predict. It looks like you have too many accounts that aren't yet established. I would allow these accounts to age further before applying.

However, keep doing what you're doing and that will give you the best chance for approval.

Personal: American Express Platinum - NPSL | American Express Blue Cash Preferred - $15,000 | Chase Sapphire Reserve - $38,500 | Chase Amazon Prime Visa - $7,200 | Chase Freedom - $500 | Barclaycard Arrival+ - $18,600 | PenFed Platinum Rewards - $25,000 | PenFed LOC - $10,000 | Navy Federal Credit Union Platinum Visa - $25,000 | Navy Federal Credit Union LOC - $10,000 | Citi Double Cash - $12,170 | Citizens Cash Back+ - $8,650 | Citizens LOC Overdraft - $8,000 | Discover - $10,000 | Capital One Quicksilver One - $3,600 | Capital One Platinum - $750 | Valero - $600 | Dell - $3,000 | Lowes Advantage - $30,000 | Macys Amex - $25,000 | The Home Depot - $7,500 | Tourneau - $15,000

Thanks Uncle_Money! How much time would you suggest i should wait for before my next application.

I really want to have a credit card from prime lender with a $10k CL.

I doubt any member can guarantee, what you ask , an approval of an unsecured CC. IMHO

You have little to no chance of getting a prime card with all your new accounts. That's the reality of it. Sorry.

Re: Can anyone suggest me which card I can be approved for sure?

I have poured almost every relavent bits of information i could have about my credit profile, and i just thought may be someone at the forum could suggest me a card i could get without a denial.

I have glued myself for more than 2 hours on this forum just waiting for some home. And i sincerely thought some one could analyse my case and could help me.

Now, i guess, i cant be approved for a card at this point with 100% assurance.

Still, if anyone could suggest me anything, i would be grateful.

Thanks!
