In the last few months I've seen several creditors return to offering pre-approval sites or pre-selected database search sites.
Bank of America
Chase
https://creditcards.chase.com/RecentlyMailedOffers.aspx
Citibank
https://www.accountonline.com/cards/acq/preQualUserInfo.do?screenID=3204&isInvitation=Y
Is it possible to add them to the sticky and update other information (such as Orchard Bank now being a hardpull)?
Sweet thanks!

i'm surprised they pre qualified me for a 123 or a 321 whatever it is lol, mainly since I burned them in 1998 and they wouldn't give me a secured card in 2011 -_-; but my scores are 300+ points from what they were lol

What did the offer look like?
I put in my info, and it said "We recognize your member profile" or something like that (i have a mortgage with them). So it prompted me to login and when i did it went straight to the Bank Americard Cash Rewards Visa with a "Apply Now" button. It doesn't say anything about being pre-approved or anything.
Do you think this might just be a generic offer?

Im thinking since we are somehow tied to them they probably offer this to all its customers...maybe someone else who doesnt have any ties to BofA can try it and let us know the results.
why would you even consider it? Amex BCE is MUCH better imo
It offers department stores too! lol and better purchase protection etc. besides I'm convinced BOA is bankrupt after buying countrywide. Hence why they're always desparate for new fees.

- 3% cash back at US stand-alone supermarkets for the first $6,000 spent in a calender year, after that it's 1%.
- 2% cash back on gas at US stand-alone gas stations and select major department stores
- 1% cash back on all other purchases

wish i could get in with Amex...applied in October for the Delta Sky Miles(heard it wasnt hard to get) got denied with an Experian score of 678 (off their denial letter). In the garden till April 2013. Maybe i will give it another shot then.

re the purchase protection: i recently got the BofA 123 Cash Rewards visa signature - the visa signature aspect provides all of the benefits/protections and services of any visa signature. plus, for me, living in hawaii where gas just recently went below $4/gal, the 3% cash back on gas is excellent! (until chase's freedom gas category kicks in again in jan)
