Can't figure out JCPenney at ALL!

Declined for the 3rd time in the last 2 years with JCPenney!

I just don't get it but it's clearly a sign I don't shop at JCPenney and they are helping me continue that

I have not got it yet but I assume the same thing they put on all my GE CLI denials or denials for other cards they underwright (the letters are pointless - they are formality and required by law!)

Don't worry about it. I was denied also. This is why I choose to shop at Kohls, Target, Belks, and Walmart. Sorry JcPennys!

Back in the day when my credit was A+ I tried twice to acquire a JCP card and was denied. Can't remember exactly why but I just let it go and have no desire to apply for one in the future. There is only one particular location in a local mall that is worth shopping at, but I go very infrequently. To me, JCP isn't what it used to be.

GE approves JCP Credit cards with a score of 600 and bellow but again, they do consider other factors as well

If I were you) I wait for the letter, go to the store grab a couple of jeans and have the clerk call them for me.

Someone doesn't know GE very well! (you can't recon GE) they are just a big computer system that doesn't always make a lot of sense... no biggie
