Currently in the later stages of my rebuilding process and have been getting approved with some better cards. As soon as my balance transfer is completed from my new Chase Freedom, I will be canceling this. It's a terrible card, but served its purpose and helped me get here. Can't wait!
It may open the door to regular FNBO cards for you, it did for me, when I canceled it I received preapp for their AMEX cobranded card a few months later.
I had that card for about six years and it grew from a CL of $300 to $1750 when I closed it last year. Starter cards and sub-primes can lead to prime cards as evidenced by my FNBO preapproval. Much success with growing your credit garden.
Was reading the bankruptcy to 700 thread, though I'm waiting for baddies to roll off, and fix some medical bills.
They recommended credit ine, but I burned them in desperation jan 2008. So, approved today for Legacy Visa, highest score oscillates between 609 and 660, but tons of cc's gone bad (okay, 4, not tons) in 2008. The interest is not good, but they from south Dakota (all the usury types have a branch in s Dakota now, even chase), and can charge it.
My first unsecured in 6 years, starting limit $750. Have secured card with CU for $500, after opening average utilization 4% (signed up for score watch).
They really want to push the convenience payment with debit card for a fee, just want to sign up for online banking, and pay the annual fee of $75. Needed unsecured. By next march, can app for discover it or barclay's, or just pay for another year if need be. I guess for an emergency card (I do have some emergency funds set aside), it's better than a payday loan. Just figure I put my Netflix and scorewatch subs on it.

Not meaning to steal the thread, but could you give more info on this? How long did you have your Legacy, etc?
I don't believe this card is issued by FNBO.

Seems you are correct, The First Natl Bank in SD is not the same as the First Natl Bank in NB which is owned by FNBO... Confusing to say the least since FNBO has more different logon sites than any other bank I know of...
