I tried to buy Amazon GCs with a Lowes GC, it didnt work.  At the counter they thought there were none that you could buy with a Lowes GC.  Bummer.

Generally I don't think you can since there are many times you can buy a gc for under value.. Sure might only be 10-15% but if you buy 1000 in store gift cards for 900 and trade it back for 1000 visa gift card to spend elsewhere...

Nope...I tested this today...bought some tapcon screws, a bit, and a $15 starbucks gift card. I got the discount on the screws and bit but not the gift card...
