Can you have a piggy-back removed if it has gone bad?

I have a piggy-back, with a friend who I thought was a solid credit scorer.  But things have changed and her account went into collections.  Now it shows as a collection on my reports.  Can I have this removed from my CR, or am I stuck with this baddy even-though it is not mine?  It shows on only two of my three reports.  Now with the new rules will it just go away or do I have to have it removed?  Please help

If you're speaking of an AU, then write the CRA and report as not yours.  I had one of DH';s closed that way.  Quick and Easy (usually) Smiley Very Happy
