Cap 1 ? Did that just happen

You're a great customer, and we appreciate you. That's why we're happy to give you a credit line increase - you deserve it!

Your new credit line is $1,300.00. That's an increase of $1,000.00.

Use your increase to help pay for daily expenses, or for that family trip you've been thinking about. You can also transfer balances from higher rate credit cards. Whatever your needs, it's nice to know you have more financial flexibility.

The increase is automatic, so you don't have to do anything at all. Just enjoy it!

just to give you background story I'm on a steps program and was awaiting on my increase on the 7th statement which is next month. Open my email and boom.

If I'm not mistaken, another poster got an identical $300 auto cli from 1000 to 1300 today.

Could this be the beginning of a trend?

edit- you got a 1000 CLI not 300. Still that's two cap one clis in one day-which has got be some kind of record

Re: Cap 1 ? Did that just happen

Maybe Cap one is really re-evaluating their CLI policy. I am starting to feel a little hopeful with all the cli going on. I am keeping my HSBC/Cap 1 just to see what happens when the transition is fully completed. Ya never know.I guess

Re: Cap 1 ? Did that just happen

Was this a former Orchard card or was it always a Cap 1?  I have both a $300 former Orchard and a $1,000 Cap 1.  Both in are in the steps program.  I would be in seventh heaven if they upped one or both.  Fingers crossed!!

Congrats!! :smileywink:

You're in credit steps program with an Orchard card?  Did you receive some sort of notification on that or was it something you requested or?

OP: congrats man, that may be one of the largest C1 CLI's ever!
